“Quantum engineering of excitons in 2D materials from the bottom-up” (QEE2DUP) is one of the two BIST-IGNITE projects awarded for the second stage.

The study on the synthesis of lateral superlattice heterostructures, carried out by Maria Tenorio and Cesar Moreno has been recently published in Advanced Materials.

Maria’s presentation on the synthesis of atomically precise graphene superlattice heterojunctionse was awarded as best PhD flash talk  presentation at the MANA International Symposium 2021. Congratulations Maria!
